Sweden’s thriving tech ecosystem accounts for 18.4% of all European tech funding.

We decided to focus our investments on Sweden alongside Israel because those two markets consistently produce exceptional technologies, talented entrepreneurs, and superior investment returns.

This decision is strongly supported by recent market data:

A. In 2024, Swedish tech companies raised an impressive €13.7 billion, ranking second in Europe for total funding. This investment represented 18.4% of all European tech funding for the year.

B. Notably, a significant portion of this funding—€10.4 billion—went to cleantech projects, primarily in debt financing for gigafactory expansions. Beyond cleantech, the Swedish tech sector shows particular strength in transportation and energy.

Two Swedish companies that have drawn a lot of attention recently are the fintech firm Klarna, which files for a $15b New York IPO, and Lovable, one of the fastest growing SAAS startups in recent years:  $17.5M ARR in 3 months and 30,000 new apps are built every single day.
